The paintings in this gallery feature the light of Garro’s work. As a child, a favorite destination was Manhattan’s Museum of Natural History where the diorama had a tremendous impact on his artistic sensibilities. Manifested in his most recent work, clever themes combine with trompe l‘oeil elements and the depth of a museum diorama.
